Mr. Wan Norhaziki

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I was the first Malaysian Muslim recipient of the prestigious Nostra Aetate Fellowship of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (PCID) from 2016-2017. During that time, I was given special opportunities, including being the only Muslim speaker at the Vatican’s 4th World Congress organized by the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants. As an interreligious dialogue activist focused on building bridges between Christians and Muslims in Malaysia, the NAF scholarship has broadened my knowledge of Christianity, which I have always desired. Thanks to the NAF scholarship, I have the necessary knowledge and skills for actively engaging with Christian-Muslim dialogue initiatives in my country, together with my fellow Christians from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur.
