Condolences upon the Death of Abbot Notker Wolf, OSB

Notker Wolf, former Abbot Primate of the Benedictine Confederation, died unexpectedly on April 3, 2024, as he was traveling from Italy to his monastery in Bavaria. He was deeply involved in the work of Monastic Interreligious Dialogue, especially in relation to the dialogues with Shi‘a Muslims.
The Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue extends condolences to his monastic community and to all who mourn his loss, with prayers that he may be welcomed into the presence of the Risen Jesus.
