Ad Limina visit: Taiwan

During their ad limina Apostolorum visit to the Successor of St. Peter, the bishops from Taiwan visited the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue on 17 June 2026. The meeting provided an opportunity for a cordial and constructive exchange on key issues related to the Church’s mission in their respective regions. Discussions focused in particular on the current state of interreligious dialogue, the promotion and safeguarding of religious freedom, and the fostering of religious harmony within society. The bishops also shared pastoral experiences and insights from their local contexts, contributing to a broader understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by the Church in Taiwan in engaging with followers of other religious traditions.
