Students from the World Council of Churches (WCC) Bossey Ecumenical Institute
visit the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue
On Monday 20 January 2025 a group of students and staff of the Ecumenical Institute at Château de Bossey, met with Mons. Indunil J. Kodithuwakku K., Secretary of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue, and Fr. Paulin Batairwa Kubuya, Undersecretary. A part of the World Council of Churches and attached to the University of Geneva, the Ecumenical Institute offers also a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Interreligious Studies, which aims at equipping young leaders with the tools to navigate and contribute to interreligious dialogue in a globalised world. The students, who come from various parts of the world, are in Rome for an 8-day study visit with a full program that includes meetings, lectures, tours of the Vatican and participation in worship for the closing of the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity at Saint Paul Outside the Walls on 25 January 2025.
