Documents concerning Interreligious Dialogue

The Declaration Nostra Aetate (In Our Age) of the Second Vatican Council has given the Catholic Church reasons and guidelines for engaging in interreligious dialogue, and it is the foundational text of the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue. Visit our page on Nostra Aetate, which includes the video that DID created for its 50th anniversary. Since then, the Church has continued to give guidance about interreligious dialogue through the teaching of the Holy Fathers and of DID, which are found below. The documents here are also drawn from various events in which DID has participated throughout years of building relationships with followers of other religions.
